Botswana

Where the wild is vast and the encounters are intimate

Botswana made a deliberate choice — and you feel it the moment you arrive.

The concessions are vast. The camps are small. The wildlife outnumbers the guests considerably. What that creates is not just exclusivity — it is genuine space, genuine silence and encounters that feel entirely unmediated.

The Okavango Delta floods annually from rains a thousand miles away, transforming desert into a labyrinth of channels and floodplains where elephant, lion, leopard, wild dog and buffalo move in extraordinary concentration. On a mokoro at dawn, the world reduces to water, sky and the sound of birds. The poler behind you has grown up on this water and navigates by instinct, stopping without explanation when something is close. On horseback, the wildlife moves around you rather than away. At night on a starbed, the African sky becomes very close.

The Chobe River holds one of the largest elephant populations on earth. The Kalahari stretches vast and ancient to the south.

  • Glide through the Okavango Delta channels by traditional mokoro
  • Ride on horseback through the floodplains as wildlife moves around you
  • Sleep on a starbed open to the African night sky
  • Spend time in vast, private concessions where guests are outnumbered by wildlife

what we love

A mokoro at dawn

Papyrus parting, a hippo surfacing close, the poler stopping without a word because something is near.

Wildlife moving around you, you belong.

A starbed night

Open to the sky, hyenas calling somewhere in the dark, the Milky Way directly above.

Chobe at dusk
